We, the associates of AimLoan.com believe strongly that successful companies are built on solid foundations of ethical business practices. We are committed to conduct business in accordance with the highest ethical standards in order to merit the trust of our customers, vendors, loan investors, regulators, the general public and our fellow associates.

This Code of Ethics highlights certain rules of behavior we are all committed to follow. Even though a matter may not be specifically discussed in this Code of Ethics, we are committed to following all laws and regulations and to behaving in an honest and ethical manner at all times.

  1. All confidential customer and company information shall be handled with the strictest of care in full compliance with the Confidentiality Agreement signed by each associate.

  2. Any conduct that could create a conflict of interest between our private interests and the interests of the company, or even the appearance of a conflict of interest, shall be avoided. If an associate is a licensed real estate agent or broker, the associate shall register their license with AimLoan.com. No associate shall accept any fees for real estate or mortgage transactions outside their employment with AimLoan.com.

  3. We shall not solicit or accept gifts from any customer, third party service provider, acquaintance or other associate in connection with any transaction with our company as such gifts may unduly influence our objectivity.

    The only exception to this is unsolicited, non-cash gifts with a cumulative value of less than $100 per year, such as those received at holiday time, which represent expressions of friendship, and then only if we honestly believe that there will be no improper influence on our ability to perform our job in an objective manner.

    Under no circumstance may we ever accept a cash gift or referral fee.

  4. While employed at AimLoan.com, we shall not enter into any other employment relationships without the company's prior written consent, as this can create a conflict of interest, lead to criticism and damage to our company, and impact our effectiveness on the job.

  5. Related party transactions shall always be referred to a non-related associate for processing, underwriting and funding, including transactions where: (i) the customer is a relative of ours; or (ii) we have an ownership interest in the subject property.

  6. We shall never refer customers to any specific provider of professional services (such as attorneys, accountants, insurance agents, real estate agents or alternative lenders) as this poses liability to our company and can lead to unethical business practices. Parties may be referred to a general industry group, with a comment such as "you might try calling a bank."

  7. When taking a loan application, we shall always obtain complete and accurate information. We shall never make any false statements or misrepresentations regarding a loan application nor lead a borrower to make any false statements or misrepresentations.

  8. We shall always strictly adhere to all laws and regulations governing the real estate mortgage industry.

  9. We shall treat others with respect, including all borrowers, fellow associates and other business associates, and refrain from using profane language in the course of doing business.

We, the associates of AimLoan.com, are committed to abiding by this Code of Ethics, using good judgment and high ethical standards, and refraining from any illegal, dishonest or unethical conduct. We expect all associates to comply with this Code of Ethics and support appropriate disciplinary or legal action against associates who violate its provisions.
